The Public Relations Sub-Committee of the Nepal Geological Society (NGS), in collaboration with the Nepal Geological Students’ Society (NGSS), successfully organized a one-day awareness program on “Understanding Disaster and Risk Reduction” at Amarjyoti Secondary School, Nagarjun-10, Kathmandu, to enhance students’ understanding of disaster preparedness and resilience on July 24, 2026.
