The Nepal Geological Society (NGS) has been approved as an Adhering Member of the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) with voting rights.
By joining IUGS, NGS becomes part of a global geoscience community representing 1 million Earth scientists across 74 member countries.
This is a historic milestone for Nepalese geoscience and opens new opportunities for international collaboration, research, and global representation.
