Dear Colleagues
Given the ongoing developments with COVID-19, the organizing committee is pleased to announce that it has revisited the timeline for abstract submissions for the EUROENGEO 2020 Conference in view of the current status and the many requests for an extension.
The new deadline for submission of abstracts is now the 31st of May 2020. This allows not only for more time but also to submit abstracts on more current studies.
At this point in time, the organizing committee does not anticipate the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak presenting a significant public health risk at the EUROENGEO 2020 later this year (Sep. 20-24). Nevertheless, the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors and personnel remain our top priority. We will continue to monitor this evolving situation on local, national and international levels and follow recommendations issued by the WHO and national and local health authorities.
In any case, Greece has emerged a success story of the COVID-19 pandemic, keeping the crisis under control with relatively few cases and deaths. This makes us very optimistic about the future health safety in our Country and we are certainly looking forward welcoming you!
