Interaction Program on Application of Geological Knowledge on Hydropower Sector: Opportunities and Knowledge Gap is going to be organized by the Academic and Professional Development Sub-Committee of Nepal Geological Society (NGS) and co-organized by Nepal Geological Students’ Society (NGSS) on Shrawan 03 2078 (July 18, 2021) Time: 03:00 PM. The objective of the program is identifying the gap between the knowledge acquired by the graduates and that required in the Professional Field; and finding the ways to bridge this gap.
Mr. Pragati Adhikari, (Chief Engineering Geologist (JV AC-EE, Julius Nyerere 2115 MW Hydro Power Project, Tanzania) and Mr. Rabindra Dhakal (EPTISA Service De Ingenieria S.L. Melamchi Design and Supervision Consultant) will be the invited speakers in this program. Dr. Subodh Dhakal, Coordinator of Academic and Professional Development Sub-Committee of NGS and Associate Professor, Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University. will moderate this program.
The program will be organized through an online platform, ZOOM, and will be live on the Facebook page of NGS and NGSS.
